Oh, Rashida, so many goosebumps. Wow, what a powerful timeline and beautifully told. I can relate to so many aspects of your experience! When I visit my home country, people wonder whether I am from abroad (I now have accent in all languages I speak 🙂 ); I’ve done 4 years of PhD and I know what the price one pays to emerge on the other side of this journey (CONGRATULATIONS by the way, huge-huge milestone!)… I could keep going on. In short, loved every word. Thank you!
Dear Gulara, thank you. As you well know, it takes a long time to discover and own your voice, and I’m just learning to trust mine. These past four years have allowed me to reflect deeply on what’s important and that’s why your intuitive empathy means so much xx
Absolute pleasure, Rashida, Look forward to reading more! You have such a wise voice that brings together various cultures, generations, traditions, languages. Very rich and very unique too. Can’t get enough!
Thanks Gulara x

As the theme for June is self-care, I am taking care of myself (have cold and feel tired). Instead, I am posting a stunningly beautiful post by wonderful Rashida.
Once again, thank you. I am deeply honoured. And yes, do take care. Hope you’re better soon.
